Make your own POT O’ GOLD this St. Patrick’s Day
The old folktales tell us that there is a POT of GOLD hidden where the end of any rainbow touches the earth. As you may never find the an actual pot of gold you can make one for the pot of gold person in your life!
SUPPLIES:
- Terracotta pot – just grab one from your summer-time planting stash – or buy a bunch of small pot to make these as gifts!
- Black paint
- Paint Brush
- Glue
- Glitter or Gold trim
- Paint Marker
- Irish themed stickers
MAKING IT:
First make sure the pot is free of dirt, cleaned and dry. Paint the outside black and when that is dry paint the inside black too! I like to make several small pots to give as gifts or you can make one large one to use as a centerpiece.

Once the pot is dry, glue the rim and roll it in glitter or glue on a fun gold trim. I always say, a day without glitter or gold trim is a day wasted.
Now, using the paint marker add your sentiment…Happy St Patrick’s Day…Irish Blessings…. Lucky of the Irish…and even personalize it!
Add a four-leaf clover sticker and gold wrapped candies, there you have it…. A Pot of Gold at the End of the Rainbow!
