Make Mom a one-of-a-kind coffee mug for her special morning cup-of-joe! It’s a lasting gift she can use on Mother’s Day and everyday!
You’ll need a plain mug, artists tape, chalk board paint, a paint brush, and chalk.
First, tape a portion of the mug so you create the perfect line from the mug to the paint… or you can paint the entire mug for more chalk board space but I like using the bottom half of the mug.
Using a small paint brush paint the mug. You’ll have to do 2-3 coats to get a nice, thin coating on the mug. And now just wait for it to dry.
Once dry peel away the tape and there you have it a blank chalk board canvas to write whatever you want!
And since today is all about Mom, I’m giving her special attention!
Side note, you can give this to her filled with chalk so she can change the writing on the mug everyday, like “Thanks Kids!”
