Try creating a pillow that is double sided so they can create two looks…and essentially two different rooms.
On one side, used a cohesive fabric for the room and on the reverse side, give an old university sweatshirt a new life. You know those sweatshirts, the ones taking up too much space in your closet? Now they add a creative twist to give your man cave some real team spirit!
You can turn all the pillows one way for a luxurious look and then with the flip of the pillow and grab some salty snack foods you’re ready for the big game.
Oversized pillows are perfect for accenting the couch or for tossing on the floor for more comfortable seating. You can use the same idea as the throw pillows by adding cohesive fabric to one side and something fun on the other. Here I added a masculine flair by using ties as embellishment. Sewing them onto red denim and then on the reverse side using the same cohesive fabric as the room.
