small paint brushes
First, cut the twine.
While you are heating up your glue gun and glue stick, cut a piece of twine that is long enough that you can wrap it around silverware a couple of times.
Next, fill the molds.
Once the glue is ready to go, fill the molds with hot glue to about halfway.
Then, dip the twine in the hot glue.
At about halfway full, dip the center of your twine piece into the center of your mold and let it set. Then add more glue to top the mold off. Hold the twine strings out of the way of the glue.
Remove the glue from the mold.
After the pieces dry for about twenty minutes, pop them out of the mold.
Finally, paint the hot glue pieces.
You can paint it to match the rest of your table décor, or you can even use colored hot glue in this DIY to make it even more simple.
