In the age of working from home, it can be easy to just grab a bag of chips or whatever is in the fridge for lunch. A healthy lunch will be more nourishing and will help both physical and mental health. It will give you the energy boost that is needed to get through the rest of the workday.

Meal planning is a great way to plan out healthy meals for the week. Plan your meals out before your trip to the grocery to eliminate more trips to the store throughout the week. Pick out foods that can be used in different ways, like getting the base of a salad but picking both chicken and salmon to switch out. This will prevent getting bored of eating the same meal every day.

Kendra shows a great grab and go meal option for lunches by making mason jar avocado chicken salad. This meal gives a great afternoon energy boost!
