Make your BFF a DIY Friendship Cuff Bracelet
These monogrammed friendship cuff bracelets are perfect for showing how you cherish your friendships with people you love. You’ll want to share these with all of your pals and give them the gift of handmade. These friendship cuff bracelets are perfect for the newest trend in friendship bracelets by being simple, fun, and easy.
Cut the fabric scraps
First, cut the fabric scraps into a 4×14 inch strips. This length will create a tail that will mimic a cufflink closure. If you want the bracelet to be smaller and more snug, make the length a little bit shorter.
Program your sewing machine
Use the alphabet setting on your sewing machine and program in the name or phrase you want on the bracelet. If you don’t have an alphabet setting on your sewing machine, that’s okay! You can also embroider the name or phrase by hand. Next, place the center of the fabric on the sewing machine right side of the fabric facing up and press start, and then you will have a super cool design!
Fold the fabric
Next, fold the fabric length ways with the right side of the fabric facing each other and the monogrammed name on the inside. Sew it along the edge.
Finish sewing the bracelet
Turn the fabric right side out and top stitch the end of the openings shut to finish the bracelet.
Sew on the fastener
Add a piece of hook and loop fastener wherever the best fit would be for your wrist. Sew it to the inside face of the bracelet.
Decorate your bracelet with embellishments
Finally, attach any embellishments that will make the bracelet stand out! You can use buttons or jewels to make the bracelet extra special.
These friendship cuff bracelets are great personalized gifts to show all of your best friends how special they really are.
