Add a touch of romance to your next dinner party with these DIY wine cork name tag holders. They’re super easy to make and can really elevate any table whether it be a dinner party or a wedding.
What You’ll Need
This craft has minimal supplies. You will need wine corks, hot glue, twine, embellishments, and name tags. Follow these five steps to make your next party a success.
1-Lay out the corks
Start by laying out the wine corks. You only need to use five corks per holder. Glue three of the corks side to side for the back and then glue two side by side for the front of the holder.
2-Glue them together
Next glue the front and the back together and make sure to leave a slight opening at the top for the name tag to easily slide into.
3-Tie the twine and add an embellishment
Next, tie the twine around the cork cluster into a cute bow. Cut off the excess twine and use some kind of embellishment as an added touch. In this case, a shell that was found at the beach adds an extra elevated look. Finally add the name tag to the slot.
Everyone will want to come to dinner with these upcycled wine cork name tag holders. If you’re using these for a wedding or a shower, start an assembly line to speed up the process of making them. These are sure to add a touch of romance to your next dinner party.
