Jane Monzures Clauss is a two time EMMY winning television personality. Currently the host of Creative Living on the Yurview Network and Arizona Living:Your Home Your Inspiration. She also produces and hosts Craft Room Crash on ClixTV. Jane can also be heard as a featured guest host on 890 WLS radio and on her Creative Living podcast.
Jane contributes her sewing and embroidery projects as a BROTHER Sews Ambassador. She is a do-it-yourself maker with contagious enthusiasm, a rip it apart and remake it sense of humor, and a bigger is better attitude; all on the rocks with a twist and olive!.
She also adds her artistic talents as a DIY features expert on television programs including: NBC’s The TODAY Show, FOX Good Day Chicago, Lifestyle Today, ABC’s Windy City Live, FOX 17 Morning Mix, Houston Life, We Are Austin, Peachtree TV Atlanta and so many more across the country.
Jane coined the term “UpCrafting” as her passion to refashion, refurbish, recreate and reuse sweeps the nation. She was repurposing before repurposing was cool. This is no “Plain Jane”; she is the crafty, modern domestic diva who is clever and inventive in all aspects of her life.
Jane started her career in radio so you may recognize her voice from WGN 720, as the morning show co-host on the legendary rock station 97.9 The Loop, as afternoon host 100.3fm, or adding her wit and charm to i101.1fm. She also graced the radio airwaves in Atlanta as morning-show co-host at 93.3 Dave-fm.
Jane is dedicated to raising awareness and funding for rare degenerative brain disease research and brain donation.
Jane plunged into the world of couture with her own unique brand of clothing made from repurposed neckties and shares her craftastic talents with her DIY by Jane lifestyle brand.
